Purpose: A mobile conversation starter app designed to work primarily offline

Opnrs is built with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data to improve your experience while keeping your personal information completely private. Most of the app works offline, and your data stays on your device.
2. Information We Collect
What We DO Collect:
- Anonymous Usage Analytics: How you interact with the app (which features you use, when you use them)
- Device Information: Your device type, operating system, app version
- Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription
- App Performance Data: Crash reports and error logs to fix bugs
What We DON'T Collect:
- No Personal Information: No names, email addresses, or contact details
- No Account Creation: The app works without signing up or logging in
- No Location Data: We don't track where you are
- No Conversation Content: We never see or store your actual conversations
- No Photos or Files: We don't access any of your personal files
3. How We Collect Data
Amplitude Analytics:
We use Amplitude to understand how people use the app. This includes:
- App Opens: When you start the app
- Feature Usage: Which conversation categories you browse
- Subscription Events: When you upgrade or cancel subscriptions
- Performance Metrics: How fast the app loads, if it crashes
All Amplitude data is anonymous - we can't connect it back to you personally.
RevenueCat (Subscription Management):
- Subscription Status: Whether your subscription is active
- Purchase Information: What plan you bought and when
- Device Store ID: Anonymous identifier from App Store/Google Play
RevenueCat handles all payment processing - we never see your credit card or payment details.

Subscription Data:

Where Your Data Is Stored:
- On Your Device: All conversation topics, preferences, and settings
- Amplitude Servers: Anonymous usage statistics only
- RevenueCat Servers: Subscription status and purchase history
How Long We Keep Data:
- Analytics Data: 2 years maximum, then automatically deleted
- Subscription Data: As long as required for billing and support
- Device Data: Deleted when you uninstall the app
Security Measures:
- All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption
- Analytics data is anonymized and cannot identify you
- We use trusted, security-certified service providers
6. Data Sharing
Who We Share With:
- Amplitude: Anonymous usage analytics for app improvement
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
- Apple/Google: Required subscription information through their stores
Who We DON'T Share With:
- Advertisers: We never sell data to ad companies
- Social Media: No integration with Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Data Brokers: We don't sell your information to anyone
- Marketing Companies: No third-party marketing integrations
7. Your Privacy Rights
What You Can Do:
- Delete Local Data: Uninstall the app to remove all device data
- Opt Out of Analytics: Contact us to disable usage tracking
- Manage Subscriptions: Cancel through App Store/Google Play settings
- Request Information: Ask what data we have (spoiler: very little!)

- iOS: Use "Limit Ad Tracking" in Settings > Privacy & Security
- Android: Use "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in Google Settings

No Other Services:
We don't use Facebook, Google Analytics, advertising networks, or any other tracking services.
9. Children's Privacy
Opnrs is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains conversation topics suitable for all ages, but some content may be more appropriate for teenagers and adults.
If we discover we've collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
10. International Users
Data Transfers:
- Amplitude is based in the United States
- RevenueCat is based in the United States
- Your data may be processed in the US, but remains anonymous
GDPR Compliance (EU Users):
- Lawful Basis: Legitimate interest for app improvement
- Data Minimization: We collect only what's necessary
- Right to Erasure: Contact us to delete your analytics data
- Data Portability: Request a copy of your data (though there's very little)
